Slavic Burlesque Festival to międzynarodowe święto burleski - sztuki scenicznej, która łączy performans, teatr, taniec, kostium i kobiecą (oraz queerową) siłę wyrazu. Festiwal powstał z potrzeby promowania i rozwijania burleski w krajach postkomunistycznych, gdzie przez dekady cielesność, erotyka i artystyczna wolność były spychane na margines lub traktowane jako tabu. Ideą Slavic Burlesque Festival jest tworzenie przestrzeni wymiany pomiędzy artystkami i artystami z Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej a światową sceną burleski. Festiwal zaprasza performerów z całego świata, zachęcając ich do przywiezienia do słowiańskiego kontekstu najbardziej pożądanych i różnorodnych form burleski: od klasyki, przez neo-burleskę, po boylesque i formy eksperymentalne. SBF jest wydarzeniem otwartym dla wszystkich narodowości, tożsamości i poziomów doświadczenia. Zarówno uznani artyści, jak i osoby rozpoczynające swoją sceniczną drogę, mogą zaprezentować się przed międzynarodową publicznością i jury, wspólnie budując widoczność burleski jako pełnoprawnej dziedziny sztuki performatywnej. Kulminacyjnym punktem festiwalu jest konkurs Slavic Burlesque Queen / King, dedykowany zarówno wschodzącym gwiazdom, jak i dojrzałym performerom.

- Best Costume
- Best Show Concept
- Slavic Burlesque Queen / King - tytuł główny

Slavic Burlesque Festival to nie tylko konkurs, ale przede wszystkim manifest wolności artystycznej, celebracja ciała, różnorodności i siostrzeństwa, a także próba odzyskania narracji o erotyce i performansie w tej części Europy.

The Slavic Burlesque Festival is an international celebration of burlesque - a performing art that combines performance, theater, dance, costume, and female (as well as queer) expressive power. The festival was created out of the need to promote and develop burlesque in post-communist countries, where for decades, physicality, eroticism, and artistic freedom were pushed to the margins or treated as taboo. The idea of the Slavic Burlesque Festival is to create a space for exchange between artists from Central and Eastern Europe and the global burlesque scene. The festival invites performers from all over the world, encouraging them to bring the most desired and diverse forms of burlesque to the Slavic context: from classic to neo-burlesque, boylesque, and experimental forms. SBF is an event open to all nationalities, identities, and levels of experience. Both established artists and those starting their stage journey can present themselves to an international with the audience and jury, jointly building the visibility of burlesque as a fully-fledged field of performing art. The highlight of the festival is the Slavic Burlesque Queen / King competition, dedicated to both emerging stars and seasoned performers.

- Slavic Burlesque Queen / King - the main title

Slavic Burlesque Festival is not just a competition, but above all a manifesto of artistic freedom, a celebration of the body, diversity, and sisterhood, as well as an attempt to reclaim the narrative of eroticism and performance in this art form.
